Ebay shifts shedloads of grey market stock

RESELLERS AND distributors anxious to get rid of stock before it turns into a virtual six day old fish are using Ebay to save their bacon.

That's according to an article in The Observer, which claims Ebay is becoming "the natural home" to grey market goods - not only for computer kit and components - but for designer goods as well.

Some big vendors have used Ebay for years now to sell their equipment - given the reach and the number of page views the auction house attracts.

The Observer article, here, said small shopkeepers and market traders are also joining the jamboree.

Sure enough, a search on the string Pentium 4 on Ebay, here, produces a plethora of systems you can buy. Some from dealers, some from vendors and some from individuals. µ
