MARKET RESEARCH firm iSuppli said its figures show that LG Electronics leapfrogged Samsung to sell the most LCD TVs during the fourth quarter, although it's still a close run thing.

According to iSuppli figures, LG held 10.99 per cent of the worldwide market in unit sales, followed closely by Samsung at 10.26 per cent market share.

The TTE (Thomson-TCL) alliance was in third place, with 9.66 per cent market share, losing the number one position it held in the previous quarter.
