ISPs blamed for child porn

ANTI LINUX SCO boss Ralph Yarro is leaning on Utah lawmakers trying to get Wireless Service Providers to be held responsible for child porn on the Internet.

Yarro, who was appearing as a 'concerned parent' rather than with his SCO hat on, told Utah's Public Utilities and Technology Interim Study Committee that there was "a crisis of inappropriate material flowing over an unregulated Internet".

He wants free wireless sites and subscribers held responsible should any porn be delivered to minors. To avoid a fine for leaving a wireless network open, a computer owner could require a password or install a filtering program that blocks pornography, he said.
