Kids hack back as schools block Myspace

Talking liberties
Wed May 24 2006, 15:25
A GROUP OF US schools which are frantically trying to stop kids going onto Myspace.com are finding out how good their students are at hackology.

One school board, ironically in Libertyville, told its kids that anything they posted on MySpace would be used against them. It also blocked access to Myspace from the school's computer labs.

However, it soon discovered that the kids can hack their way past most of the blocks with a bit of online research.

As one kid pointed out on a school message board: "I MEAN YEA. Were not dumb people we know how to protect ourselves!!" Looks like they have been skipping English class. µ
