Automatic simply means that you can't repair it yourself - Frank Capra
SAPPHIRE has introduced two Daamit flavoured mobos, the PI-AM2RS780G and the PC-AM2RX780 motherboard.
The PI-AM2RS780G is Sapphire’s first board to feature AMD's 780G chipset, the SB700 south bridge and support for AMD's Hybrid CrossfireX graphics. Not only does it support AMD's AM2+ processor and feature a 2000MHz HT3 bus, it also supports Dual Channel DDR2 memory.
DX10 graphics support and output to both VGA and DVI connectors are also part and package of the PI-AM2RS780G. But, as if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the option to use AMD's Hybrid CrossfireX mode and load a HD 3400 series card into the PCI-E 2.0 slot, allowing it to work in tandem with the on board GPU. By using CrossfireX, up to four different HD 3800 series GPUs can be used together.
The second board, the PC-AM2RX780 motherboard, is based on AMD's 770 chipset and SB600 south bridge, comes with CrossfireX capability on an ATX board. Like the PI-AM2RS780G, it also supports AMD's AM2+ processors, HT3 2000MHz Hypertransport speeds and Dual Channel DDR2 Memory DIMMs up to 8GB.
Both of Sapphire’s new products will be on the market very soon. Pricing remains a mystery, however µ
