XGI Volari card scrutinised

BIGRUIN HAS a rare review of a XGI Volari V8 graphics card. The latter proves to be a good competitor for the Radeon 9600 or the Geforce FX 5700 series. While performance might no longer be first class, consider it for its innovative multimedia features.

Power supply units are unfortunately very much undervalued, but the arrival of the Prescott processor and the appetite of High-end video cards only emphasize the need for good power supply. Read more here for a 19-unit test review.

XYZ computing has a review for us of the Mushkin PC3700 1GB dual pack memory modules. It is still DDR based but some DDR466 from Mushkin can't be that wrong, isn't it? Elitebastards do a hell of a job by analysis the performance of the new ATI Catalyst 5.2 drivers which include new additions to the Catalyst Control center. There are some good news for ATI card owners with an extra 10FPS recorded in some cases.

Belgium geeks from Madshrimps get their hands on the Coolermaster Praetorian 731 Case review. This is no light and small case. In fact, you can easily build a powerful server inside it. It supersedes the earlier ATC-20x models and adds some goodies of its own.

Hexus reviews the Pinnacle Liquid Edition 6 Pro, which goes head to head against Adobe Premiere. The model reviewed comes with a well-endowed USB break out box. µ
