Anti-Nvidian class action site starts up again

Miffed consumers seek the similarly miffed

A WEB SITE HAS sprung up complaining about Nvidia - again.

A posse of the miffed has mounted the site threatening a class action against the graphics chip firm for flogging graphics chips that they, the miffed, say don't do exactly what they claim to do on the tin.

They reckon they've forked out far too much money for Vista-ready DX10 cards but their hopes of graphical bliss have been scuppered by Nvidia's failure to deliver decent drivers for the hardware.

A self-appointed spokesman for the group claims, "We are exploring the possibilities of launcing a class action suit. For this purpose we have just launched a new website to gather information from possible plaintifs."

The site itself says: "We believe Nvidia transcended from irresponsible business practices into a targeted campaign to waste our money on faulty products ill-prepared for emerging technology."

If this all seems a bit familar to you then that's because it is.

A similar site sprang up in February called www.nvidiaclassaction.org. That's now disappeared. Instead there's a new one called www.nvidiaclassaction.info.

Whether this one has more luck or a longer shelf-life than the last one remains to be seen. µ
