XFX has a licence to overclock G80

WE TOLD you it will come and XFX is the first to persuade the Nvidians to let it play with its designs. XFX has just released a limited edition of cards overclocked to 630MHz Core/2GHz Memory. The stock G80 GTX works at 575MHz Core/1.8MHz memory speed.

We learned that the cards will be limited and it will be the part of the XXX pervert edition series. It will be called the 8800 GTX XXX Edition and grab one while you can, but we don't know anything about availability and pricing and here in Euroland the work hours are long gone so we cannot find this out for you, yet.

XFX also launched the 8800GTS XXX Edition, and that product is clocked to 550 MHz Core and 1.8GHz for memory.

Would be cool to test the fastest retail G80 as that would make a difference we believe. µ
