AS WE PREDICTED HERE before the cutting edge of technology did its bit, October the 9th is a red-letter day for AMD. Find some more information over at AMD Zone.

The same pages also point to an article on Van's HW about Nforce and XP - which you can find < a href="http://www.vanshardware.com/articles/2001/october/011001_nForce/011001_nForce.htm" target="_blank">here.

At JC's there's reference to a possible dual channel for DDR SDRAM that La Intella might be weaving away at in her back room. Go here, for more.

Thanks also to CD for pointing to this reference at Silicon Investor worthy of a read, which JC referred to before the end of last week.

There's more about the dual DDR stuff over at Ace's Hardware, and about the 576Mbit RDRAMs Samsung has introduced.

Anyone point me to the new SEC filing between Intel and Rambus? That happened just before I was introduced to the cutting edge of technology, as far as I recall.

More later. Must go off and slump in a heap somewhere... µ
