Flexi design works wonders
Friday, 13 April 2007, 17:34
EVERY MAC BORE will tell you that Apple popularised the GUI, led the way in usability, pioneered design, made water safe to drink and all those good things.

What Apple struggled with for many years was having a half-decent pointing device but now the Cupertino super team seems to be looking having the best mouse in the house too.

AppleInsider, for it is they, has latched on to a company filing - why don't I ever look at those? - that suggests the Califonian boys are looking at a way to make a mouse that can auto-switch between modes.

But all our readers know that new Apple designs are great if you want to pay for the pleasure of beta-testing almost-there products, of course.

So tell us, what's the best input device you've seen and why.
