Comcast hacked

Email denied
Fri May 30 2008, 08:37

CABLE OUTFIT COMCAST has had its web portal hacked preventing subscribers from getting access to their email.

When punters tried to visit the site they got an incoherent message from a hacker instead.

The hack was managed by changing Comcast's registrar account at Network Solutions so that DNS servers redirected traffic for URL Comcast.net to an IP addresses in Germany.

Comcast stopped the traffic from being redirected to bogus servers, but some users still had problems for most of yesterday.

According to News.com there had been no indication that anyone's personal data was nicked. However, the hack would have been a gift to those who wanted to download malware onto Comcast customers' machines. ยต

GridNetworks Signs Comcast

new Streaming service is collaborating with Comcast, So You will Never miss anything. Its Oscar service, So: Enjoy Show.

In article Germany is mentioned. AMD stock bottomed at $5.30 & moved to 7.10 over few months or 25%, yet AMD stock is actually 4 differnt Stocks that are completely seperate. AMD usa/AMDberlin,AMDgermany & AMD Dutschelander. So its NOT That Simple, is it Barney? All stocks are listed seperately. point is: attack can come from any seperate Eastern Affilate & Not affect any other actual neighbors. its complex world. Comcast is werner, so Dod hack comes to mind.
While gridnetworks is bbc, You can tell with names like Guthrie its producer thing, US thing & GOOD thing.
Ms. Beasley hopes to track down perpetrators soon enough. Bet it was AMDberlin.
