CHINESE SITE HKEPC has gathered details on the upcoming Intel 1333MHz FSB based processors, including very interesting pricing information.

According to Taiwan's motherboard industry, Intel will release the new versions of the Conroe based processors in the third quarter of 2007.

The E6540 and E6550 both clock in at 2.33GHz, and the E6750 runs at a slightly higher 2.6GHz.

Pricing for the E6550 is set at $163 and respectively, and the E6750 will come in at $183. Pricing for the lower-end E6540 is yet to be announced.

At the top of the list is the E6850, which keeps to a 65W TDP, but runs at 3GHz, and is priced at a massively competitive $266.

The E6550, E6750 and E6850 all come with the new Intel Trust Execution Technology (TXT), but the E6540 lops this off and should come in slightly cheaper than the similarly rated E6550.

Each of the processors detailed above, will come coupled with a 4MB L2 cache, and have two cores each.

A new quad-core Q6700 All processors in this range will come with Intel's Virtualization technology (VT), Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology (EIST), x86-64 instruction set extensions, and the usual Intel XD/execute disable bit technology.

It seems DAMMIT has a huge price war in the later half of 2007 on its hands. µ
