Intel advertises graphics jobs

The men for Larrabee
Thursday, 21 June 2007, 17:52
YES, LARRABEE IS more than well and kicking, and with those pesky roadmaps being leaked willy-nilly, you don't need to play a guessing game to learn what is planned.

Larrabee is not the only project in the pipe, of course. The current "Jack of all trades" plan for the chip could backfire if the drivers are not ok, but that is just one of plans in store.

Besides starting a Research@Intel bog yesterday, Intel also decided to increase itspresence in on-line advertising space as far as headhunting is concerned.

The New graphics part have to establish Intel as a technology leader in that segment as well, and change the current situation from manufacturer of sucessful, if slow and non-compliant graphics hardware to something useful.

The firm even uses Google Ads on selected web-sites to get things in higher gear. This project requires not just whole new set of engineers, but support teams as well as vocal enthusiasts, community watchers, marketing and PR people, and of course, PCB engineers.

So, if you think that you have what it takes to make their future graphics projects successful, watch for those ads on websites out there ยต
