Chilean company RedVoiss presented their VOIP solution, small little boxes that you can connect to any broadband link (even residential level cable modem or WLL), plug a standard phone to the device's RJ11 socket, and talk between different company buildings for free, and to external (PSTN) phone numbers at very affordable rates. The revolutionary feature of these boxes is that they are available in one, two, and four analog RJ11 ports.
The booth by Solution Box, a local distributor, was showcasing a wide range of video capture products from Pinnacle and ADS Tech, promoting their wide range of video capture cards, MPEG2 encoders (most based on USB 2.0 external designs), and the like. Jose Martinez, the ADS Tech sales manager for South America, was on the show as well and was very helpful. Finally, it should be noted that Pinnacle's product line now includes the Dazzle brand as well, after it was acquired by Pinnacle.
Finally, The Beatles were there as well. How? Well, hosting company "Un Lugar", which claims to have servers in the Telmex data center (if in Mexico or somewhere else, was not disclosed), found a nice way to have people stop at their booth and take a look. Of course it had nothing to do with the product, but surely it grabbed the looks of everyone. :)
