Yet more security problems hit Microsoft Windows products

ISA Server 2000 and all versions of Windows OS
Wednesday, 19 March 2003, 21:24
MICROSOFT HAS AGAIN alerted its users to critical updates for its Windows software.

There are two separate sets of problems Microsoft has just warned people about, just two days after a serious "critical" problem with Microsoft Windows 2000.

The latest updates affect the ISA Server 2000 and the other critical update affects Microsoft Win98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Users need to check whether Microsoft ISA Server is installed on Windows XP and other versions of Windows, to see whether they need the patch.

The second security problem will allow attackers to get hold of machines by enticing end users to visit a malicious Web site, said Microsoft.

Here's the first notification and here's the second security hole. ยต
