BIG BLUE AND Toppan Printing will cooperate to produce 32 nanometre photomasks, according to Nikkei.net.

Mass production will begin in 2010 with developers working at IBM in the USA and at Toppan's Japanese facility. Both firms are already cooperating on producing 45 nanometre masks, said Nikkei.

This technology is likely to end up being used to manufacture AMD microprocessors. µ
