OCZ serves up 4GB kits for Vista

For 64-bit Vista
Thursday, 1 February 2007, 10:01
VISTA demands more memory and OCZ will offer up to 2x2048 MB or 4GB kits for those who want to upgrade. This only makes sense if you are using Vista 64 Bit as that is the only one that can address more than 2GB.

We already tested the OCZ PC5200 667 2x2GB memory kit here.

OCZ is offering DDR2-667 modules in 2GB times two. For 32-bit Vista DDR2-800 with two 1GB modules. is the way to go.

The memory costs about $450 and should be available shortly and it works at CL 5-5-5-15 timings at DDR2-667 speed. It works at 1.85V and it is covered with a lifetime warranty. You can learn more about it here. µ
