WE ALREADY covered the multi-core briefing Intel gave to journalists at last week's IDF, but the backup information on the paper presentation it gave is of sufficient interest, we believe, to scan in and show our readers.

See Stand to attention for the Dual Core Waltz, D is for a different kind of Pentium, and Intel confirms dual core everything.

Some of these chips are projected so far into the future that we believe there's still debate inside the chip giant as to exactly what form they will finally take.
