Nvidia peers up Scotsmens' kilts in Highland Games Fling

And finds big GPUs there
Thu Jul 10 2003, 11:55
GRAPHICS CHIP AND CHIPSET firm Nvidia will have the pipes skirling and the kilts whirling as it sponsor a highland fling at a games festival in Edinburgh next month. [Edinburgh is not in the highlands, Ed.]

The firm said that it will sponsor the Edinburgh Games Festival at the Royal Museum between the 11th and 18th of August.

And Nvidia will provide all the PCs with its Geforce FX 5900 to power up the games jamboree as it beats the graphics tattoo.

Said Nvidia's developer manager Darryl Still: "We believe that the games festival will be a vibrant showcase for the interactive arts, with PCs using Nvidia's graphics hardware at the forefront". µ

INQblot II Edinburgh is located on the spot of an extinct volcano.
