Tuesday, 27 March 2007, 10:11
CHICHUAHAU STATE GOVERNOR José Reyes Baeza Terrazas has ordered a computer game which depicts his government as corrupt and people violent to be banned.

The game in question is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 which shows an elite combat unit battling Mexican rebels in the year 2014.

The bad guys live in the town Juárez, Chihuahua and Terrazas says they are depicted as nasty and violent. They are also seen as being under the control of a nuclear weapon smuggling government official.

He said that the game is an insult to the people of Chihuahua which already have enough on their plate what with being named after a breed of dog owned by Paris Hilton.

Authorities are gathering information on where the game is being sold, reproduced, and distributed in preparation for a seizure campaign, El Diario reported.
