MEMORY FIRM Sandisk has appointed three distributors to manage its range of solid state drives (SSDs).

The three are Ingram, Bell and D&H Distributing, who will peddle the wares to the system integrator community.

Before now, the Sandisk 2.5-inch SSDs were only available to OEMs (original equipment manufacturers). Sandisk said the system integrators can now start putting the 32GB units into drives from October.

The disties are so far limited to the USA but Sandisk will extend its reach to European distributors during the first quarter of next year. µ
