INTEL HAS appointed Enta Technologies as a sixth UK distributor for its core processor line-up, in an apparent bid to strengthen its ties with SME buyers.

Enta joins Intel's channel line-up of Avnet, DNS Arrow, Ingram Micro, Computer 2000 and Hammer.

Enta veep Jon Atherton, said the distributor had been working with Intel for a number of months and is finally able to pin the authorised Intel Channel Supplier badge on its lapel.

“We are very excited about this tier-one franchise. Enta predominantly focuses on the SME/SMB buying group space and Intel has committed to us to go after that channel for them,” he told a top channel rag.

Intel reckons Enta "will efficiently complement Intel current distribution network."

“We are confident that the addition of Enta Technologies will successfully strengthen our support model and accessibility to the UKI Intel Channel Programme," he warbled. µ
