Fujitsu Siemens to intro 845E, 845G, GL boards

FUJITSU SIEMENS is likely to be one of the first big vendors to introduce motherboards using the 845E, 845G and 845GL chipsets, according to roadmaps seen by the INQUIRER.

At launch, Fujitsu Siemens will introduce the D138X, which includes i845G graphics, LAN, and AC97, and which will come with 4X AGP, 6/3 PCI, six USB 2.0 sockets and with a 533MHz system bus and supporting PC2100 memory. This board will come in both ATX and micro ATX versions.

It will also offer the D133X, which supports the 400MHz system bus.

Its 845E board is called the D144X, and supports IEEE 1394, USB 2.0, IDE RAID LAN, AC97 audio and S/PDIF. Fujitsu Siemens will offer this board in three versions.

The 845GL board, called the D142X, will support Intel Celerons, include onboard graphics, DDR and also has six USB 2.0 slots.

It is also offering the D1289 board for AMD Athlons and for Durons in three versions - one with the Via KT266, one with the KT266A, and one with the Via KT266A with the new south bridge.

If you're into running dual Pentium III-S chips, it is also to release the D1306 ATX+, which has an ATI Rage XL graphics controller, an LSI Ultra Scsi controller, and an Intel 82550 Lan controller, as well as support for System Guard V1.6X.

Fujitsu Siemens has a launch date of 20th of May for the i845G, GL and E chipsets. ยต
