Thinkcomputers.org tests the ATP Pro Max 1GB Compact Flash Card. This is apparently a water resistant flash card - as opposed to a water proof. It carries a 5-year limited warranty and can undergo a number of pretty harsh climatic conditions. It is not more expensive than other comparable similar cards but where it leaves everyone else in the dust is when it comes to sheer speed. The Asus Geforce 7900GT is a reference video card being reviewed at 3Davenue. Interestingly, the card comes with VirtualDrive 9 for some reasons. 3DAvenue overclocks the card quite heavily with some good performance improvement as well. It is almost as quick as the 7800GTX and is faster than the X1800XL. It might be somewhat expensive for the average gamer, but bear in mind that there might be some cheaper 7900GT cards out there. So watch out.
Overclock Intelligence Agency reports on the Spire SP-600W Rocketeer IV Gaming Power Supply. It is marketed as a black/dark grey, modular cable, SLI ready, gaming PSU. Talking of cables, the Spire's ones are EMI shielded and look very cool. Thumbs up for those. Quite a few accessories. The PSU emits a very nice blue glow and for once, it is very quiet as well.
Extreme Overclocking reviews yet another PSU, this time from OCZ Technology, better known for its excellent memory modules. OCZ GameXStream 700W Power Supply comes with most of the goodies that you would expect from a high quality PSU. It is apparently one of the few that has different PCIe connectors on different 12v rails. A very good PSU which is relatively cheap.
Hardwaresecrets has a look at the Arctic Cooling Accelero X1 VGA Cooler. The X1 has a big 60mm fan rotating at 2000rpm with quite a few memory heatsinks. The HSF is well built but one has to wonder whether it will be compatible in a SLI confirguration. However, it is quite effective. Once installed, you could not even hear it working and the VGA cooler comes with a 6-year warranty. Obviously, it is a little bit expensive and it will help you overclock efficiently. µ
