A 17 year-old high school student faces a year in prison by trying to get back at his ex by framing her in a plot to kill the US president.

John Fellows logged onto his ex's computer at Oswego High School using her password and then emailed the president threatening to kill him.

The email said: "I'm going to blow up the White House and Kill you and your family," admitted he wrote in an e-mail message. "You're a stupid peace [sic] of [excrement] and deserve to Die!!!"

When asked by police, Fellows admitted the whole plot and his brief said that the whole thing had been blown out of proportion.

Fellows' attorney Joseph Pagano told the Oswego Daily News. "There was a female involved here… He's an excellent student, [and] comes from a very good family." µ
