Intel Merom to launch early

Mobile Core 2 Duo flees Haifa

HKEPC said that rather than waiting until August, Merom will launch on July 23rd, and pricing details are out, as we revealed yesterday.

Much like Conroe, there will be both 2MB and 4MB parts available, and the highest clock speed will match Yonah at 2.33GHz.

Prices of the Yonah parts are expected drop correspondingly around the same time, as you'd expect.
