AKIBAHIRA NEWS reviews the minute EM 750W 512MB MP3 player which comes with a 26K colour OLED - Organic LED - display. It is compatible with WMA, MP3 and OGG formats. It also spind videos in MPEG4 video format. It lasts 15 hours in audio mode and four hours in MP4. With a 40g weight, it is ideal for those looking to watch recorded series in the tube.

The second review features an iAudio X5 VII which is a higher class personal media player from Cowon. It comes with a 20GB HDD, a voice recorder and a FM radio. Most interesting is its capability as a direct Encoder. Even if it is a little bit pricey, it comes with loads of accessories that justifies the investment. Both reviews are in French.

Chinese website Hardspell has a graphic card shoot out for our eyes. Ten Geforce 6600 cards from a number of well known and lesser known manufacturers like Jetway, Yeston or Innovision or even brands that exist only in China. They also compare BGA to TSOP memory as well as GDDR3. Overclocking included, there are some cards that definitely impresses.

GamePC studies the differences between onboard and add in solutions for RAID5. Solutions from nVidia, Intel, Areca and Bradcom are compared. Dedicated RAID5 solutions do have their advtantages and can scale up much more smoothly as compared to onboards ones. Still there's much much more to come with SATA II cards coming soon.

Pentarsys checks the Sapphire X800 AGP VIVO version with the Rage Theatre Chip. The card comes with a huge software and accessories bundle and makes the Sapphire a very good option. The card is tested against a Radeon 9700 Pro. As one might expect, the higher the climb in resolution, the more the difference. Interestingly, without AA/AF, the difference isn't as important as it could be and at low resolutions, the 9700 Pro is still an interesting card - even after nearly three years.

Doomed PC reviews the Enermax CS 527 casing. A very good looking and equally sturdy piece of component. Comes with side panel, neon lights and a thick steeel chassis. Its glossy finish means that you'll have to be very careful not to scratch it or mark it. And it costs only £37. The reviewer is genuinely impressed by such a piece of kit. And so am I.

Another French Website, Presence PC, pits the Logitech MX518 against the Razer Diamondback mouse which will appeal to gamers. The two get compared in weight, design and ergonomy - note that they are both corded mice. Also some words about a new Diamondback mouse with a 2000dpi captor.

ZDNet reviews the business-oriented HP DX5150 desktop computer. With a £683+VAT pricetag, it ain't cheap but it does come with an Athlon 64 3500+, 512MB memory, a DVD writer and a 17-inch LCD monitor. And, unlike many others, the graphics ain't crap. its chipset is based on the ATI Radeon Xpress 200 while the main card is a mid range Radeon 9600. µ
