DAZZLING REDHEAD Hazel Blears is touting herself as the supersoaraway successor to John "Intel" Prescott and flogging a range of merchandise to boot.

Prescott, like Tony "I can't be bovvered" Blair, are expected to step down as deputy leader and leader-in-chief of the New Labour party.

On her web site, Blears - motto "winning for Labour" - is pictured with Indian film princess Shilpa Shetty.

As well as offering hope for the future of the Labour party, Blears is offering merchandise at her Campaign Shop, including a £7 mouse mat, buton badges, t-shirts and a £14 "Hi5 Girlie Baseball" outfit. She's also offering a hooded sweatshirt, despite the fact that New Labour is not very keen on people hanging around on street corners wearing hoodies. µ
