Pins down as AMD bulldozes ahead with Turion

LAPTOP LOGIC has some interesting comparisons between the AMD Turion 64 and the new Turion 64X2.

Socket S1 is, said the site, 23 per cent smaller than Mr Socket 754 and has a reduced pin count.

There's also a little more info about AMD "Bulldozer", with a die shot. Bulldozer isn't likely to appear for quite some time. µ
