Sapphire has X1800XT 256 MB for €340

SAPPHIRE and some other ATI partners have plans to release the X1800 XT 256 MB to compete with Nvidia's 7900 GT. Sapphire actually managed to ship its first cards and you can already buy them in the German etail market.

Some etailers have them listed for even less than €340 but we would not bet on it as they still don't seem to have them in stock. Go have a dekko here or you can find out about the others here.

Nvidia still has problems shipping enough 7900 GT cards. We found out that Gainward actually has some available costing just a little bit more - €333.83 and you can buy them here.

The only problem is that X1800 XT 256MB is likely to outperform 7900 GT at the same price. µ
