Sony to intro Blu-ray notebook in July

JAPANESE FIRM Sony is slated to produce a Vaio notebook in July which will have a built in Blu-ray drive.

The 3.8Kg AR11S - no, not 'arris - will come with a 17-inch screen, 200GB drive, a Freeview digital TV tuner, and Geforce Go 7600 GT graphics. Sony will claim its HD ready.

In the UK the machine will cost £2000 with pre-ordered machines shipping in mid-June. Microsoft Windows Media Center is the OS Sony is shipping, while the chip will be Intel's Core Duo T2500. µ
