Sempron encroaching on A64 land?

AMERICAN WEBSITES Hothardware, Anandtech and AMDzone all have reviews of the newest Sempron member the 3300+.

Hothardware compares it with the 3100+ and the Celeron D335 while Anand adds in the A64 3200+ and the 3000+, both with four times its L2 cache. The 3300+ is based on the 90nm Palermo core, runs at 1.8GHz and even with half the cache of its predecessor gives the latter a run for its money, especially when overclocked. They achieved a 230MHz FSB overclock using a nForce 3 motherboard putting it firmly in Athlon 64 3000+ territory on most benchmark.

Speaking of AMDzone, they have posted a reviews of the nForce 4 SLI powered board, the K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI motherboard. At only $178, it ain't that dear and has a heck long list of features - dual SATA and dual ATA controllers, Gigabit LAN, SB Live audio, firewire etc. Add in their overclocking gizmo, the Corecell and you have the best SLI solution on the market.

Dansdata reviews the Pratt and Whitney powered iCute Casepower 0408SL computer case. it features a huge 120mm aircraft like fan in front and a prominent Perspex ducked window on the side. It comes with a door and a couple of sockets and most importantly, it is not that expensive.

Bjorn3D has tested the Samsung CLP-510N colour laser printer. This massive piece of technology comes with a 1200dpi print engene and can print up to six pages per minute in duplex mode. With 64MB memory and network enabled, it should easily get the best of normal inkjet printers for less than half a grand.

Mikhailtech checks the AL Tech Mediagate MG25 portable media center, a MPEG3/4 jukebox which comes with its own set of cables and remote control. It comes without a hard disk drive and ressembles a normal 2.5-inch HDD enclosure plus it does almost everything you'd expect from a basic Media player.

Hardware.fr has a product roundup of 23 and 24-inch LCD monitors. With models from HP, Dell and Viewsonic, one has never got thatmuch space for its money. 1920x1200 pixels is nothing to be sniffed at.
