Man sells last breath on Ebay

Ebay Auction of the Day
Tue Jul 16 2002, 15:04
A MAN OBVIOUSLY THINKS his last breath is worth auctioning because he's selling it on Ebay, complete with plastic bag.

The bid, however, has a full three days, thirteen hours to run at press time, so we presume the bag on display at Ebay is just a sample of the final goods.

When the bid period extends, presumably he will expire his last breath and make sure the bag with his last breath is despatched to the lucky winner.

He says on the site description: "The freedom to pass on such a meaningful part of my life will hopefully bring happiness to others and help the world be a better place for others to savour after i am gone."

He does not say whether he's going to top himself or will have someone else perform the deed for him, to satisfy the great buying public.

The Ebay auction is here. µ
