Tuesday, 30 May 2006, 15:17
SOME SEVENTY percent of Japanese gamers said they were more excited about the imminent arrival of Wii than they were about any other console.

The overwhelming majority of readers of Famitsu magazine are persuaded that Sony's rival console, the Playstation 3, will be overpriced.

And so they are ready to snaffle up Nintendo's more slimly-priced model like it's the only show in town.

Eight-eight percent said the Playstation was too expensive.

A slim seven percent said they were anticpating cough up for an XBox 360. µ
