THE COMPRO VideoMate TV Gold plus 2 gets its http second of glory at Tbreak under the fingers of Tareq Kamal. This PCI card comes with the usual Ulead software and also comes with FM radio feature. Good choice for those looking to add eyes and ears to your computer. Timeshifting, powerup functionality and video smoothing are welcomed technologies.

The Gigabyte 3D Aurora, the first standalone Gigabyte Casing, is tested at Insanetek. It seems that Gigabyte has done a particularly good work with this one especially when coupled with the company's Galaxy cooling system. Toolfree case, impeccable finish, dual 120mm exhaust fan, watercooling ready and integrated lighting. Can't really ask for more.

Ascully reviews the Antec Phantom 500 quiet PSU. Absence of noise has became one of the new Graal to be conquered. One of the first place to look for as far as noise is concerned is the PSU. The Phantom 500 does come with a fan and loads, a handful of cable connection to cover even the most demanding tasks. There's a fan, but it will kick in only in case of emergency.

Tired of 7800GT reviews? Here are some more. GDhardware has a model from eVGA, which is only the second manufacturer to get a review. A growing habit amongst graphic card manufacturers is the fact that the 7800GT is overclocked out of the box - 445MHz/535MHz. GDhardware evokes the Xbox curse for ATI which is an interesting suggestion about why Nvidia superseded ATI. And before we forget, that card carries a lifetime warranty [guarantee, Ed.].

Chinese website HKEPC has its own review of the 7800GT. It is in Chinese, so you better wear your translators. Actually, it's a Galaxy card that has been tested, it uses 2ns Infineon GDDR3 memory and seems to be fairly conservative - reference card based. Eventhen, the blokes at HKEPC achieved an overclocked speed of 465/1090, quite a feat. It not only beats the X850XT PE handily but even the 7800GTX can feel its little brother's breath down its neck.

Gamespot publishes the first review I've seen of the BFG Overclocked 7800GT. The guys at GS have almost reached 500MHz/1.2GHz, a 20% overclock, which of course, means that the card nicely outperformed the GTX at stock speed. Expect this card, together with the XFX and eVGA to flood the market soon. µ
