A GATHERING of insecurity experts at Carnegie Mellon has concluded that all their costly technology is really worth the cash.

According to Network World, corporate IT pros often complain that justifying security expenses to their bosses is tough because they don't necessarily generate revenue or enable new business opportunities.

The full details of the meeting were found here. But while the meeting came up with lots of suggestions for new areas to spend on IT security, there were few cost excuses that IT managers could tell their bosses. ยต
