FUNKY SEARCH engine firm Google continued to boogle by turning in a Q2 profit of $721 million on revenues of $1.65 billion, compared to a net of $342.8 million in the same Q last year.

GOOG was down $11.88 to close at $387.12 on NASDAQ at the end of the day.

Vole Central turned in its Q4 results. It had revenues of $11.8 billion - not to be sniffed at - but net profit was $2.83 billion, down from the $3.7 billion it turned in QonQ, YoY. It is going to use its endless supply of doubloons to buy back load of shares.

A quick look at Cher's faves. BRCM closed at $26.35, INTC teetered $1.39 down to close at $17.10, RMBS closed at $16.88 amidst tales that the stock might be delisted.
