QUAKECON HAS KICKED OFF and reports are filtering onto the web. ViaHardware has stuck up a wee pictorial roundup over here. And the guys from Amdmb.com have found themselves wading through mountains of KT400 motherboards over here.

Aussie site AusPCWorld have Albatron's brand new mobo, the KX400+Pro over here.

And staying down under, there's a look at the EPoX 8K5A3+ motherboard at Tweaktown over here.

Danish site hardware-testdk has a look at a SiS's Xabre 400 from ECS. The kind fellows have posted it in English. Wibble this way.

And there's a look at Transcend's Radeon 7500 over here at Heatseakerz.net.

Hothardware has a four-way NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti 4200 Shoot-Out. They compare the performance of cards from Gainward, MSI, X-Micro and VisionTek to a Radeon 8500LE, Radeon 9000 Pro and a GeForce 4 MX440. Check out which they reckon has the most to offer over here.

Mikailtech has a look at Western Digital's 1000JB SE 100Gb hard disk drive over here.

And this new guy on us wonders whether it's worth upgrading a first generation AMD DDR board (AMD760, ALi MAGiK1, VIA KT266). Is the performance gain worth it he wonders, over here.
