MICROSOFT HAS confirmed the official release date of the Xbox 360, which is due to be released in America two days before the traditional Thanksgiving consumer rush on November 22nd.

The console will be rolled out from there to the UK on Friday, December 2nd and in Japan Saturday December 10th.

The 360 launch will come almost four years to the day the original Xbox was launched, November 15th, and Microsoft say that they have factories churning out millions of units of the console.

Exact allotments have yet to be confirmed and worries of shortages for certain territories remain.

Pre-order, we suppose. µ
