Sandisk card edges out Ipod on Amazon Xmas list

But Ipod rules in US
Fri Dec 28 2007, 13:43

THE HUMBLE SanDisk 2GB SD Card is edging out Apple in the traditionally frenetic Christmas week shopping on Amazon.co.uk’s Electronics & Computing section.

The 80GB Ipod Classic is at number two, sandwiched between the Sandisk and a Sony 4GB Memory Stick. The only items that weren’t Ipods or memory cards on the top 10 as of a quarter past noon were the Tom Tom Christmas Carcker Edition and the SixAxis wireless
controller for PlayStation 3 junkies.

On the US list, the Ipod has the top two spots but Amazon’s Kindle continues to surprise with a fifth-place ranking. µ

Stung by P&P

I have just purchased a 2GB Micro-SD card via Amazon Marketplace which only cost £6.08. Amazingly the P&P is £4.50 and the product arrives in quite a large box apparently (a mate bought one recently).

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
