Is there a purge in Compaq's board?

Board deLAYed but Roman's gone too

AS YOU KNOW 'cos you read the INQUIRER, and as we reported before, "George W. Bush's little Enron firend "Kenny Boy" Lay was "delayed" from the Q board quite recently.

But now we learn that three other board members have disapparu from the assembly of directors at Compaq.

The BoD list at this address doesn't list Lay, who has gone away.

But we're more interested to know what's happened to Enloe, Larson, and Roman.

Have they "resigned" themselves to their fate or is it a night of the long knives? We think we should be told but expect little from Qastle Qapellas these days. ยต

* ANYONE ELSE remember the Capellan race in Star Trek original series? E4 here in the UK has started showing the original Cap'n Kirk ones, and we watched the edition tonight where strange Capellans dressed in flared trousers and violent coloured shirts marched through the same Californian hills where the Lone Ranger and Tonto used to ride... The Capellans were not as popular as the Klingons, who of course stayed, and the Romulans who stayed for a while...
