Mikey Dell woos the trucksters

AN INTERVIEW with Michael Dell on US channel magazine CRN shows that he's ready to start selling kit in big box chains, just like HP does.

And Dell said that won't just be confined to the United States but will be rolled out worldwide.

The firm is also chatting to disties and corporate resellers about them selling Dell kit too. They're well used to discussing arcane matters like endless Ts&Cs with big vendors like HP so might find it worth taking a "risk it for a frisket" approach with Dell.

Talking to Dell would allow the big distie boys to leverage their relationship with the HPs and IBMs and Lenovos and Toshibas of this world.
