Microsoft's Silverlight runs on Linux

Open Sauce chum Novell helps out

MICROSOFT'S self proclaimed 'Flash killer' Silverlight 1.0 will soon appear on Linux.

According to a spokesVole, Microsoft has partnered with its new Open Sauce chum Novell to produce the code. The Linux version will be called 'Moonlight.' Vole also plans a version for the MacOS which we guess will be called 'Smuglight.'

Microsoft's big idea is to compete with Adobe's Flash, which is installed on nearly all PCs. To do this it has to work on as many platforms as possible. Even the ones that the Volish crowd wouldn't touch wearing oven gloves, tongs and an asbestos suit.
