IF YOU'VE EVER pondered the usefulness or accuracy of Google Maps before, then it's time to swallow your doubting words, as we at the INQ have discovered infallible proof of the site's merits via trustworthy sources - and by trustworthy sources, we mean FW:FW:FW:FW:LOL:FW:FUNNY e-mails.

In just sixty two easy steps, Google Maps meticulously plots out a perfect root from New York City, United States, to the Big Smoke that is London town.

It all feels fairly straightforward, though there are minor hitches with toll roads and the like, until you hit step 23 at which point Google instructs you to summon up Herculean strength and doggy-paddle 3,462 miles across the Atlantic Ocean.

Chortle, giggles and such to you, Google Maps. May we suggest an alternative? Step one: commute to airport. Step two: catch plane to Heathrow. Good luck, travellers! µ
