A WOMAN IS CLAIMING that without her Wii she would never have recovered from breast cancer particularly fast.

Mary Jane Zamora, 50, was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2005 and was treated with chemotherapy.

She found herself weakened and unable to get get off the couch. Her daughters brought out the Wii for her to play. Although “exhausting” at first, she was soon playing every day.

According to 4colorrebellion.com she found that the Wii encouraged her and helped her realise that she could still do physical things.

Zamora said that the Wii and its games helped her to visualise her new life, after cancer. She said her life was coming back. ยต
