THE LENOVO GROUP said it finally flogged off its phone division at the end of March.

The sale, which is reckoned to have bagged Lenovo something in the region of $100 million marks Lenovo's exit from the mobile phone business.

The actual figure will show up in the company's accounts for the quarter which ended on the same day as the sale, March 31st.

Sumner says the buyer is a group of investors. µ
