ANY PLANS APPLE may have to rent out Hollywood films online will need a good thrashing-out according to Reuters' sources.

The newswire's un-named executives have reservations about proper DRM and copy protection as well as pricing and so forth. They will bide their time rather than rush into a deal with Jobs which could make him king of online Hollywood.

Media reports have it that Apple wants to launch an online film download service. A price a $3 per film rental has been floated, but Apple is keeping schtumm about the real deal. µ
