Chinese give Google go-ahead

No ROC, no hard place for Goodie Two Shoes

DOW JONES said the Peoples' Republic of China gave Google permission to publish web stuff in the country.

It can now start operating google.cn in conjunction with ganji.com and has the necessary licences, the report said.

Google has been widely criticised for colluding with the Chinese authorities in the past.

So we shall see how it goes in the future. µ
