ATI says it's sold 100 million phone chips

Big numbers, big money
Thursday, 25 May 2006, 10:04
ATI CLAIMS it has sold over 100 million "cell phone media co-processors". This is the how the company likes to call its chips for handhelds.

We were reminded that ATI has more than thirty design wins with Motorola while Nvidia has one major one and a few little less attractive. Now ATI has Nokia the sky is the only limit.

We also learned that this is highly profitable market for ATI as the margins are really high. If you get a good design such as Motorola Razr V3 and the new V3i we are talking about millions of chips sold for those phones. ATI is inside of both Razr phones, the most successful Motorola. ยต

kids and facebook

36 year old fundamentalist Christian near Seattle, WA - I like facebook. it is not sleezy like myspace.is. my very young teens have not been approached by anyone inappropriate, but they know what to do if they are.

Kids?

Facebook's target audience is primarily college students. It's only more recently that it has added features which seem more highschool geared. And your an idiot if you accept random people's friendlist invites. To even view a persons profile you have to accept a friend's invitation, that is unless you chose to have your profile show publically.

Remember everyone, on the interwebs men are nerds, women are men and children are undercover FBI agents
