Topsat image shows Vesuvio proximity to Naples

QINETIQ RELEASED a picture of Mount Vesuvius showing its close proximity to Naples and the rest.

The micro-satellite system provides high res pictures of our planet quickly and at low cost - it returns its data to a mobile ground station immediately after taking a snap.

And so it's aimed at speed of response, whether you're a newswriter, or you're in disaster relief.

We sincerely hope that Vesuvius doesn't blow, because as the picture shows, dwellings are getting ever closer to the crater's edge. The image is courtesy of the Topsat consortium, and is copyright Qinetiq. µ

Think People Please

So I'm wondering, if I were that crazy to live so close to a Citywrecker of a volcano, of wether or not I would just settle in the middle of the crater and call my aunt to let her know when the volcano erupted, -Cheerz!
